Act- Up 2015 Victory
Killinarden Community School’s drama group bag multiple awards at this year’s Act-Up Festival hosted by Tallaght Community Arts in Tallaght Theatre. The group made up of fourteen students from 2nd to 6th year directed, produced and performed the three-act play, titled ‘Same’ to a packed audience. Other schools who also competed in the festival included St. Mark’s Community School, Coláiste Chilliain, Deansrath Community School and Mount Seskin Community School. Killinarden was delighted to be awarded Best Overall Performance alongside Best Supporting Male (Aidan Gavin) and Best Lead Female (Lauren Bracken). The school’s drama group are already looking forward to next year’s production.
