This years cross country meet was held in the wide open expanse of the phoenix park. On a wet and windy October Wednesday morning twenty one brave souls represented KCS with some great performances. There was five newcomers to the cross country team in first year, Eoghan Molloy, Jordan Bracken, Jamie Yeates, Leticia Folorunsho Walsh and Danielle Ryan. The season campaigners like Nicole Fulham, Lee Whelan and Jack Fitzgerald were also present. Jason Norton was unlucky to finish outside the medals in the second year race after a huge effort and the third years girls were unlucky not to finish with a team medal having finished 8th, 9th and 10th respectively. Our one stand out performance on the day was of Eoghan Molloy of 1E. Having put in a huge effort in the race Eoghan was very unlucky to finish in 2nd just a yard or two off the top spot. It was still a great performance and we are looking forward to next year meet.
