The game finished 1-1 with a great goal from Mark O Neill from 1A.

Under the guidance of Mr Keenaghan and Mr Byrne the team trained Tuesdays and Thursdays with great dedication and commitment showed by each player.

In the middle third Treevor O Keefe and Aodhan Mooney bossed the game until the 92nd minute when Steven Graydon’s perfectly laid off ball to match the match Owen Flynn who from 25 yards pinged the ball straight into the top left corner leaving any keeper with no chance. KCS vs Confey College 1-2 (Dublin semi-final)

The semi-final finally came around in the february of 2012. KCS took on a very physical, strong Confey College. KCS were unlucky to go 1-0 down in the first half after exchanging chances throughout the first half. Confey College pushed on in the second half, coming out of the blocks fast securing their second goal. KCS heads did not drop. They continued to do as they did all season long, battle. They were rewarded with a goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately Confey College held on with their backs to the walls as constant KCS pressure knocked on the door

KCS bowed out of the competition with their heads held high and two very proud coaches. It was a pleasure to work with the lads and we look forward to next years competition where we are sure we will go one step further and hopefully bring home some silverware.
