The annual ACE Bursay presentation took place on the 10th of October. ACE stands for Access College Education and today those ACE students who were starting college in 2015 were presented with their bursaries to help ease the move to third level.
The courses our students are attending include, Engineering (UCD), Accountancy (ITT), Business Managaemnet (ITT), International Hospitality(ITT), Forensic Science (ITT), Marketing (ITT) and Computing (DIT)
To get a place on these courses took ability and a whole lot of work. The ACE programme includes:
- Additional Classes
- Maths Workshops
- Supervised Study
- Easter Revision
The students work hard and took full advantage of these supports. Today their efforts have ensured they secured college places and the bursary presentation is a time to celebrate their achievement.
This years ACE student were Gilbert Belciug, Philip Warner, Ewa Garbiec, Faruk Balogun, Cian Duncan, Sophie Fitzgerald, Josh Solan and Samantha Byrne.
