All per usual the competition standard was high at this year’s West Leinster Athletics meet. Killinarden were well represented in the short distance sprints, long jump and long distance running in the form of Nicole Fulham. The lads and ladies competed well and were unlucky to qualify to the All-Irelands. There was great performances from Paddy Cawley, in his first appearance in the shot put, James Wall who came third in the Senior 200m final and Calum King in his first competitive race in the 100m Junior final.
